    Money Market Question

Citi Cards is offering 5%APR on a money market savings account with no minimum balance, you can also transfer back and forth from your checking account with no fee. My only question is how much/what are the odds that rate could drop? I admitt I know nothing about this and am just looking for the best option/rate to save money for after college.

    Re: Money Market Question

i know at first bank and trust if u buy a cd and the rates drop, the rate you signed up for is the rate you keep until your term is up. like i just got a cd for 9 months at 5.4%, say the rates drop to 4%, I keep my 5.4%.

I assume thas how it would work for u, but I'm not sure.
